Towcester gets Hidden Gem

Hidden Gem Towcester’s first tourism leaflet The Towcester Partnership has produced Towcester’s first ever tourist leaflet, “Towcester, the Hidden Gem of Northamptonshire”. When in 2002 the Partnership completed a “Healthcheck” of the town, what emerged was a picture of a town which not one of us really knew too much about. This leaflet hopes to help tourists find their way to the town, and discover some of the “hidden gems” within the town. A simple A3 folded leaflet, it is being welcomed by the traders in the town. Sharon McMurray, of the Towcester Tearooms, commented, “This is a really useful leaflet – people are always wanting to know more about our town”. The printing costs were sponsored by Towcester Racecourse and the Folly Inn, to whom the Partnership extends thanks. Already available in Towcester Library, Towcester Tearooms, and the Saracen’s Head, the leaflet needs a wide circulation at tourist sites, hotels and guesthouses locally, to be effective. If you would like copies, please ring the Partnership on 01327 352220, and we will arrange delivery.
